Are these character limits accurate?
They're the official platform limits as of July 2026: X 280 (25,000 with Premium), Instagram 2,200, TikTok 4,000, LinkedIn 3,000, Threads 500, Facebook 63,206, YouTube titles 100 and descriptions 5,000. Platforms occasionally change them, which is why the page states its verification date.
Why is my X count different from my regular character count?
X counts differently: every link counts as exactly 23 characters no matter how long it really is, and emoji count as 2. This tool applies those rules for the X card and plain character counts everywhere else.
Is my caption stored anywhere?
